Is Clementine a Lap Dog?
Hail tours the carnage in the city on her way to see the human William. He's dead, of course, but Clementine shows up and she is off her loop of helping people. She decides to go after the outliers and hide where they are after killing them. Hail assigned some hosts to slow William down also at the end of the scene. So what is the point of Clementine? William hunted her down to return her marble to the host city because you can't have free range hosts. Apparently, make her useful, helpful to them.
