David Perry: Putting is not about technique in itself. You can have a great stroke and not be skillful, or there might be something in the stroke that's not allowing you to be skillful. I've been teaching golf for 30 years; my background obviously was the golfing machine,. Maco Grady's more ed stuff. And then obviously Andy and Mike were good friends of mine, but I learned a lot more from my students. As a teacher, you learn what works and what doesn't work. If you're telling them too much, you're not telling them the right stuff.
