The Future of Regulation

I call it premature regulation. You don't want to regulate something too soon because A, the market's going to like decide a bunch of stuff and there are a lot of things that will die. But also, you want to make sure you're regulating something in a very forward thinking way. I mean, policy is always going to lag tech innovation. That's just kind of a fact. And tech innovation is getting faster and faster and faster. So how do you get to a place where you're still keeping consumer safe and you're still protecting innovation? There's got to be some bright lines, right?
