Quantitative Melancholia by the Swedish Duo, Golden and Senabe

From today, the city of Manchester in the UK celebrates its latest international festival with various cultural events. Economics is an exhibition at the Whitworth Art Gallery that includes contemporary art projects to reclaim and reimagine the economy. Among them is a project by the Swedish duo, Golden and Senabe, called Quantitative Melancholia which involves recreating the lost plate for Elra Dua's famous engraving Melancholia 1. The exhibition is curated by a group of specialists led by Poppy Bowers, the interim head of exhibitions at the Whit Worth.
