The Fed Overdoes Its Job Report Numbers

Core PPI peaked 8.3; Wednesday, it's forecast for 2.6. That is an incredible drop. If all this inflation data comes in as expected or maybe even lower, are we 93% sure we need a hike? And if that hike doesn't show up for a year, what was the point? What are we even doing? So a large reason why markets and me have been very skeptical of this tightening cycle is because the Fed always overdoes it.
