In the last years of his life, karl yung sat down with author, colleague and fellow analyst, anela jafe, to record his life story in written form. That book came to be known as memories, dreams reflections, and was first published in 19 61, the same year as young's death. In memory's dream's reflections, yung invites us into his inner world during this turbulent visionary time between 19 13 and 19 16. For example, this is where we find jung's written account of his river of blood vision of 19 13, which occurs during a near mental breakdown.
