The Importance of Biblical Discipline
The Bible reveals how discipline brings protection to children. When God administered consequences for the Babylonians disobedience, he was saving them from a path of destruction. His consequence was an act of mercy. Through discipline, God put them in a vulnerable position which in turn calls them to turn back to him.
