The World's Getting Better

CNN's John Sutter says the world is getting better, but people can't believe it. He points to a recent Gallup report that found happiness inequality has been rising since 2007. The internet and smartphones are making us more miserable, he says. But they're not accomplishing what we want them to do, Sutter argues.
