The Role of the Human Factor in the Climate Crisis
If a campus does not want to be active in mitigating or adapting to the climate crisis, "the crisis still happens," he says. Even if you don't want to take steps to address it, even if you are insulated and have access to freshwater, that's an excellent position to be in. Climate change can affect everything from the health and local agriculture sector to small businesses to tourism. All of these matters can affect even the most comfortable and unafflicted campus.
