The Future of Interactive Widgets
I do think that come September or October whenever iOS 17 is going to come out, I do think these widgets are going to fundamentally reimagine how we interact without devices. We're so used to, oh, yeah, let me open my task manager, mark a task as complete and then go back. Those kind of interactions are no longer necessary. So you can be on the lock screen whether it's in portrait or in landscape and do something in a widget without seeing the app or any home screen at all.
