Can a Dural Puncture Epidural Really Work?
A Dural puncture epidural is where you access the epidural space with the two E. And then you put the spinal needle through the two E, you puncture the Dura. So someone smart discovered that this could actually work. Cadaver stays shown that this couldactually work. But I do still feel that if you have a mom in 10 out of 10 healthy with a reassuring fetus, there should be no reason why you can't give pain relief instead of these other painful techniques.
