i wanted people to be able, in the way that i was trying to have a real encounter with the thing, rather than see the word and immediately slot it away into a scheme of like, oh, that's the shit that i read about every day in the newspaper. Not going to think about it. And so sort of am reveal the many ways in which it implicates our patterns of thought, and not just the omissions coming out of a tail pipe. Amd is an indication of my dissatisfaction sometimes with the narrowness of climate discourse in this country. It felt to me a bit dry and too narrow. And overplayed.
