Robin hood was a symbol of normal, everyday people standing up to tyranny and injustice. There were now a dozen robins or roberts or whatever out there in the forests of england. Robin asked for one more thing before he died: Would they bury him where this arrow stuck in the ground? Marian kissed him on the forehead but after the kiss, marian looked at john concerned. The second arrow landed farther off than the first, under a tree. It was if robin knew, because with his arrow, his life flew from his body as well.
