I did it to keep myself physically and mentally engaged. I didn't realize the enormity of the challenge that we raised $1.3 million, which went to 11 mental health charities. People who'd never cycle before, never ran before picked up some trainers and then decided to get there's a good ripple effect. If I can inspire other people, then that's what I do. And for me, it gives me something to train for as well and to aim for.
