Christopher Kapazala: World War one started because of a series of events in the summer of 1914. He says it's more useful to say that Robar one started at least a generation earlier when rising powers, particularly Germany, started devoting more resources toward military affairs and naval affairs. The capacity for war was brewing within like the leaders and within the populace he says.
