How to Trade for a Prop Firm

Don't take any challenge that's out there. Take one that allows you to be successful. Create it so small that it doesn't hit that set level. Or if it does, maybe you need to tweak your strategy or use a different strategy. If you're trading for a prop firm with very specific kind of rules or criteria that needs to be met, it's going to be very difficult for a newer trader because you may not have the skill or the ability to adjust your strategy to what's needed.
