The Catherine Parr portrait first appeared for sale in 1810 belonging to an MP, a member of parliament named John Dent. It was purchased in 1848 by Lady Sarah Sophia Fane, child of Villiers, who was the Countess of Jersey at the sale of the Duke of Buckingham's collection at Stohouse. One thing that I find interesting in the provenance of this portrait is that every time it was sold, this portrait was called a portrait of Mary married to Philip. So that would be Queen Mary the first Henry Bates' daughter. Unless, of course, Queen Mary inherited and wore some of the jewels worn by multiple of Henry VIII's wives - which I don't find
