The Role of Perioperative Pharmacists in the Surgery Space

The entire surgical continuum is mapped and it is too much for one person or even a small group of people to really even effectively intervene on. There are opportunities in need for perioperative pharmacists to be involved and integrated in the team. So I mean, I'm from what Eric said and then grew wrong. My role has really evolved a lot around being involved in data, quality improvement performance that ties in equally well with the enhanced recovery initiative.
