The Water Problem in Jacata

Jacata has a population of around ten million people, but the greater jacata area is home to more than 30 million. The city government, private companies and even individual households have extracted more and more water from aquepes underneath the city. Six decades of massive ground water extraction later, and parts of jacato are slowly sinking at a rate of seven centimeters every year. By two thousand and 30 in to experts, half of the city will be below sea level.
