The Paris of the 20th Century

The 20th century was also pretty stressful for Paris. The first World War really is a major, what would say, sort of turning point in Paris's history. After the war, very poor, very, very little public building in Paris between the wars. In 1939, 1940, one of the darkest moments in Parisian history with the overthrow of the Third Republic and installation of the Vichy regime.
