How to Audition for a Survivor

How do you audition for survivor? There's you could send in a tape, but the main way is obviously three ways a casting director reaches out to you. Then there's like you sending in a tape and they review it or they don't. And then there's you go to the audition, the open calls. What would you have done differently if you were in that audition today? Is there anything you've learned in the last seven years where you're like, Oh, I wish I used that to get cast on survivor?
