Zoks and Devo are standing on the sea floor near the destroyed cargo hold of the corsair barge. They see an octopus dragging gothree er, unconscious, into into the dreams of deborah. Zoks swims or jet propels, or whatever it is he does to travel through the water as quickly as he possibly can. The two of you stand there for a few seconds before they realize something's wrong with their ship. And just as she's about to say something, there's another loud groan of protest from the accordion bridge behind them. Then there's a snap, and then water shoots into the bridge where the two of you are standing.
