The C D C Was an Absolute Barn Fire Mess
There was an odd incentive structure they needed, you know, t they knew an election was coming. We had a couple of tensions with doctor collins n i h about getting as close to the president as possible. And that was where we had some fights with the scientists. A lot of the things they were saying in the name of science were not scientific. I think if you would have had a normal politician there instead of an outsider, and somebody who had result mentality, the outcomes would have been significantly different.
