We Recognize Our National Interests as Legitimate, but We Don't Acknowledge Ourselves
The west is deeply disappointed by russian behavior in ukraine and the annexation of crimea. But it also ought to be acknowledged that russia cares more about the fate of crimea and of ukraine than the united states does. This is justo political fact. And so pretending otherwise is really vexing to the russians, that we're going to tell the ukranians, we're behind you a hundred %. Whatever the rRussians do, we're goingto stop them. Is not true.
