20th Century Fox renamed its scoring stage in Alfred Newman's honor. His son, composer David Newman, was on hand to conduct the new recordings. In 2012, Disney bought Lucasfilm, the company behind Star Wars. You won't hear the 20th Century Fox fanfare in any of the new Star Wars movies.
