SVB is not like this was a household name in the banking community svb now it is but pat i feel like that was a big part of telling this story. The bank failed to recognize or appreciate that there was a different kind of concentration risk at the bank and it had to do with the nature of the bank's deposits over the course of some 20 years SVB changed from being a bank that really did focus on the innovation economy to one that principally served the VC and private equity communities.
