How to Use I-Feel Statements to Express Your Emotions

When we give our name to our emotions, it's like we're connecting those two parts of the brain together so that they can work together to solve problems. So in life, this looks like using I-feel statements. You just say or write, I feel followed by an emotion word. The more specific you are, the more power you'll have to resolve your emotions. Trying to notice and feel a couple of emotions once is going to help you get better at feeling healthier and happier.
