Polar bear cubs are born blind and without teeth. They weigh about a pound in their foot long, which is really tiny for a bear that's going to grow into 1,300 pounds. The mom makes it den when she's carrying her embryos and starts to fall. She'll give birth and then nurse the cubs for at least 20 months.
