Is This the Return of Some of the Beaker Migrants?
Migration is a continuous round of mobility and communication connections that go both directions. And we've got some tantalizing evidence for this in northern germany, where archaeologists have excavated a timber circle which was built by belbeke people. It's a interesting possibility that this is actually the return of some of those migrants. That's so cool. i mean, it it speaks to one of the really fascinating things about the beaker phenomenon in general, is that it seems to be so many different things. In different places there doesn't seem to be much evidence of genetic turnover at all. Yet i think it's disinteresting that that early bronsage migration basically sets the genetic germ
