Film Review - Is This a Film About Leonardo?
For me it is really so non-linear based totally around memories set in various different parts of time which are all intercut together. The point where you start casting the same actor as multiple different characters is the point where for me it becomes impossible to understand what's going on. He does also put in lots of things which tell you about his kind of artistic formation and the things which matter to him as a filmmaker. So he has a bit where he's reading, he has like an art book with- He steals from the school library a book of on Leonardo. And then there's a great scene at one point which is a kind of restaging of broigles hunters in the snow
