Deep Learning and the Post Training Phase
A decade ago, data scientists would focus on improving the model to fix issues in their post training phase. But today there's less of a focus on improvement and you can pretty much fix large amount of issues by fixing your data set. This is where data scientists spend most of their time because they are trying to find out what happens when models mispredict something. The errors that we see include sampling errors as well as human annotations which need to be done at a scale.
