Researchers at the university of california and santa barbara carried out two studies. One involved reading a shorp blur followed by a corresponding face image, where they were asked to count backwards in their head by sevend. The second study looked at the response to general emotional stimuliof positive negative stimuli from the international effect of picture system which is widely used in emotions research.
