What Are Your Thoughts on the Elite Capture of Language?

i've long argued that one of the more potent innovations of liberaleo in the past decade or so is the specific cooption of social justice language as a weapon against the working class and anti imperialist left. i do think there is a health amount of situations like i just described, right? You know, the mayor um painting black lags matter on the street, but increasing the police budget. There's a healthy amount of just kind of cynical, very clear eyed cooptation of left figures and aesthetics and ways of talking. But what's happening on systemic level doesn't actually require that we think that's what's happening in all, or even most cases.
