The First Four Months Are Teaching the Parent

At around four months when my daughter had her first smile, her first little laugh. That is a like a drug. Now everything isn't being done to avoid the negative and instead you have this positive thing that you can try and generate. And i think maybe that's why nature has made this this delayed gratification. Because if you got laughter right from the very beginning, you wouldn't appreciate it. But after four months of sleepless nights and changing endless dipers and lots of demands, this laughter fills your soul. It also is a major communicator on how is it that we can come resolution? How can we find things that we are both enjoying?"
