We are in a series called Radical Discipleship: every single topic in this series is prefigured by “Radical” because we are talking about things that are extreme, cutting to the root or base of a matter. What are the basics, the essence, of following Jesus and how can we do this in the most extreme way possible?
Luke 9:23: “And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” This is pretty darn extreme and radical!
