Linda Is a Bank Teller and Is Active in the Feminist Movement

An experiment tried to see how likely people were to believe various aphorisms and what they varied in the aphorisms. People felt that it was very likely that she was active in the feminist movement but they thought it was very unlikely that she was a bank teller. This is another case of narrative fallacy and another case of confirmation bias in some sense. We are looking for data that are compatible with our understanding of who Linda is so we go oh yeah feminist we think she's a feminist she's probably that one.
