As a writer and producer, you have in your head how do you want it to be? And this is the only way it can be when someone else who's got to go out and perform that looks at and goes, I'm not feeling it. What if we tried it this way? The first thing you have to do is listen to them and listen to why they feel the way they do. Pride of authorship is the worst enemy in the world when it comes to creative. You have to be able to let go and listen.
