The Encirclement of Kiev Continues
The encirclement of kiev is still continuing. The russians understand that if they can take denepro, while they already have total control of kerson, obviously total control of crimea in the south, then they can move north. That is the last key strategic city on the danepro river. If they are able to take it, then they will effectively cut off ukraine from the rest of the country. And then the fight for ihtor kiev might then become a siege.
