The oldest member of the tribe appeared to be 15 years old. And then also later on, you hear about the industrial accident and the poisoning. You're like, well, then why are they okay? And all of a sudden it hits me like, Oh, I'll bet that as you hit puberty,. It's latent throughout the atmosphere. You can grow up in it. These are the orphans of those who survived. And then they're headed towards an inevitable death as soon as they hit sexual maturity.
