Aristotle's Argument About Multiplying the Good
Aristotle's argument is, if you like, that goodness is not a property, but a qualifier. So he makes his argument in terms of function and contribution to some end. He then says we can only do that if we understand the underlying metaphysical structure of world itself. This is the so called function arment.
