Is This How You Teach?

When we talk about education, especially in this country, it seems to be more and more about teaching people how to memorize just enough to take a test. Where's the passion? Where's the enthusiasm? They're sitting in a desk under the lights. And so in science, what we're teaching is how to think, not what to think, how to ask questions. How do we know what we know? How can you go out and probe the universe and learn absolutely anything using the same methodology?
