The amount of time that someone wants to hold this asset is going to decrease. The people that exist that hold it now aren't going to want to sell it. If you decide to buy Bitcoin and hold it for a decade, that means every year 10 billion is being purchased and 1 billion is being dumped on the market. So all of these things put together, they increase the demand, they stretch out the duration, they decrease the supply and they decrease the friction to act in the favor of the network.
Michael Saylor is an American entrepreneur, executive, inventor, author, and philanthropist. He is co-founder and Executive Chairman of MicroStrategy (MSTR), a publicly traded business intelligence firm he founded in 1989. Michael is an advocate for the Bitcoin Standard (www.hope.com) and is the first CEO of a publicly listed company to make a long-term investment in Bitcoin. He founded and serves as the trustee for the Saylor Academy (www.saylor.org), a non-profit organization that provides free education to people around the world.
