One of the things that has worried democrats is you've got older senators in states like vermont and massachusetts, and god forbid something should happen to one of them. When you have a 50 50 senate, or anything close to it, that actually becomes meaningful. One of the things did i find interesting out of the the virginia race, the governor's race. So trump didn't play an enormous personal role. A terry m the former governor ind democratic nominee, tried to introduce trump repeatedly into the environment. But the takeaway from a lot of people coming out of that race was, why trump just doesn't have the juice any more.
