Welsh Poet - The Last Words
Thomas Chan was the most famous welsh poet of his day. Sadly, he would not live long enough to hear the b b c radio production led by acting legend richard burton. His final public engagement took place at the city coll of new york. He collapsed in the chelsea hotel after a long drinking bout at the white house tavern. And he died november ninth, 19 53 - just 39 years old.
