The Benefits of Seeing Pitches

Is there still really a benefit to seeing pitches just in the sense that it will run up a pitch count? Like, is that still good? Should we still be aspiring to do that now that there's so many relievers in the bullpen? And they're so good. So I've tried to look at this a couple of ways here. We first separated it into high pitch count outings and low pitch count appearances. And then we compared that number of runs through that number of innings. It kind of depends on how you look at it, but basically if you do make the offensive team work more than the defensive team for five innings or something like that, maybe you get a 28 point bump
