Back then, when you had to set up these sorts of experiments, you couldn't take kit down off the shelf. You had to build your own kit. There was no workshop there. So it was a biology department. No workshop. Whereas in psychology departments, you had fantastic workshops. But in Brandeis, you had nothing. And we started analyzing songs together, me and Jeff. In 1978, I noticed that these songs were kind of showing a little rhythmic tune. That's what they're trying to tell us about their body clock.
