The arthurian story is emblematic of that. For as it really incaptulates the stereotype of the middle ages. And yet, or our fascination with the middle ages continues nowadays. So i'm hoping that we can talk a little bit more about the origins of these stories. You mentioned geoffrey of monmouth, m and there's also robert de bouronye. Tell us a little more about their work and how it gave s to the stories we know. We have some welsh poems that clearly come from an oral tradition that reference the figure of merlin.
