How did your caregiving approach change as Elaine's condition changed? "Early onset was sort of easy. Just had a worry about whether she would get lost if we would be shopping together" Then it was realizing that I really couldn't take care of her by myself and trying to have some caregiving come into the home which Elaine would not accept. And then it was one of the toughest, most cruelest decisions I've ever had a make in my mind.
