I genuinely think if they mention anything about 15 minutes cities you have to change the subject. No amount of good faith arguing or trying to convince them is going to get you out of this conspiracy territory. And that's why I genuinely believe that for this your best bet is to changed the subject so they can't pollute anybody else's ideology and just focus on how awesome it will be to have a Carabas walkable from your house.
