The Paranoia of Life

When I close my eyes, I'm in the temple, in the Himalayas. My back against the wall of the cave. I'm in my cavern in the pantry. Here we are, where we to flee to Hindustan. It's always right at the same place. The first time I experienced this timeless, space-less quality, several years back, a chemical called STP. And I found myself in a silent booth, and I saw the drama of life going on around me as if it were a series of still photographs including my own part of the drama.
